Directorate Team Day for NHS Foundation Trust
This 3 day course takes the participant from a broad overview of the NHS structure through to individual challenges that the clinician faces when making the transition to consultant with an increasing leadership role.
The course has been adapted to be delivered remotely and incorporates consideration of the challenges of leadership in changed times.
Participants will:
Reflect on and learn from past experiences.
Explore current concepts and ideas related to management and leadership.
Gain up-to-date knowledge of NHS and health and social care structures as well as local, regional and national health policy initiatives.
Learn how to use tools and frameworks to expand their repertoire of responses to managerial tasks and leadership challenges.
Develop their emotional intelligence by addressing real issues.
Learn to address ‘live’ issues as they arise in the group
